Project Manager – Sandton

As a Solar Project Manager, your main responsibility will be to oversee and manage solar energy projects from initiation to completion.

You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including clients, engineers, contractors, and vendors, to ensure the successful implementation of solar power systems.

Stay updated with evolving regulations and policies related to solar energy and renewable technologies.Vendor Selection and Management : Identify and select suitable vendors, contractors, and suppliers for solar equipment, installation, and maintenance.

Negotiate contracts, review proposals, and manage vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery of quality products and services.Stakeholder Coordination : Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including engineers, architects, electrical contractors, and utility companies.

Facilitate effective communication, address concerns, and ensure alignment among all parties involved in the project.Project Execution : Oversee the implementation of solar projects, including site preparation, equipment installation, electrical connections, and commissioning.

Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and manage change requests while adhering to project specifications and timelines.Budget and Cost Control : Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

Identify potential cost‑saving opportunities and implement measures to optimize project expenditures without compromising quality.Quality Assurance : Implement quality control processes to ensure that solar installations meet industry standards, safety guidelines, and client expectations.
