Our client is seeking a Revenue Management Controller to join their team, based in East London.
Successful candidate will need to have good credit management, duties include conducting credit checks on new customers, resolving problems in relation to invoice payments, and reconciling complex month-end accounts.
Minimum Requirements : -
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures
- Proficient in MS Excel and other accounting software
- Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
- Detail-orientated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Duties : -
Develop and monitor a credit control system in collaboration with sales and marketing, finance, and executive team membersCreating procedures and policies that ensure timely payments while maintaining a high level of customer retentionEstablish policies that follow customer service best practices while ensuring customers submit payments on timeReconciling complex accounts that have been escalated from the AR teamMonitoring debtor balances to ensure a reduction in debtors DSO - Liaising with customers, as well as internal personnel including the sales teamMaintain loan records, conduct regular analysis of the credit-control system, and implement changes as needed to reduce bad debtsFollow up on overdue invoices and payments and escalate as necessaryLook for ways to improve debt collection processesReply promptly to client questions and concerns received by voicemail or via written communicationProcess irreconcilable debts / prepare debt write-offs, as in the case of bankruptcy, to be written off and archivedEstablish and maintain regular communications with clients to facilitate periodic paymentsDevelop and maintain the groups customer onboarding and data management process and systems
