The Manager will be responsible for leading the monitoring, evaluation and contribute to the continuous reporting and disclosures function within the Corporate Strategy and Innovation department of the IDC.
The primary objective of this role is to establish, co-ordinate and grow the IDCâ€s monitoring, evaluation and disclosures team, ensuring effective improvement of IDCâ€s impact indicators, measurement (associated metrices), data management, systems improvement, evaluation and disclosures of various development aspects and providing strategic insights for decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâ€s degree in Economics, Development studies, Social Science or Business Administration
- Masterâ€s degree in a relevant field will be added advantage
- 8 to 10 years†proven experience in Impact Reporting, Fund Management Reporting preferably in a development finance, impact / private equity funds or related financial services sector organization.
- Strong understanding of key development aspects, including industrialization, green economy, sustainable investment, spatial equity, jobs creation, exports, and broad-based black empowerment.
- Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation methodologies, scorecard frameworks, and data science systems and management techniques.
- ÂExcellent knowledge of project management principles and experience in leading teams.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and data visualisation techniques.
- Knowledge of emerging Impact Disclosures
- Proficiency in using monitoring and evaluation tools, data systems and software.
