The Position
At Deel Local Payroll, we offer various partner channels to suit the partner’s business model. As an SDR on the Partner Desk for Deel Local Payroll, you’ll be the central point of contact for all BPO partner-sourced leads and day-to-day partner activity. You’ll manage inbound queries from prospective BPO partners, support the BPO AE with commercial handovers, and play a key role in enabling smooth partner operations. From registering new BPO partners to facilitating customer migrations and educating support teams on partner-specific processes, you’ll help ensure that this partner channel runs efficiently and continues to scale. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of sales support, relationship management, and operational execution.
Responsibilities
Lead Management & Sales Support
- Own and action all new BPO partner opportunities and inbound BPO partner leads from various entry points
- Qualify and convert leads into CRM, following structured procedures and routing logic
- Assign opportunities to BPO AE with context and accuracy
- Maintain strong lead conversion performance and prioritise leads based on urgency and fit
- Assist BPO AE in formulating sales campaigns using data from CRM to reach out to unconverted leads
- Track BPO partner-related activity and lead quality for weekly reporting and insights
- Manage inboxes, monitor CRM queues, and support scheduling of BPO partner-related appointments
- Ensure BPO partner stats are accurate and up-to-date for weekly meetings and follow up on BPO AE feedback regarding changes in opportunity stats
- Ensure full CRM documentation for BPO partner-originated deals and handovers
- Collaborate with sales, support, and operations to maintain data integrity and pipeline hygiene
Partner Operations & Enablement
Register new BPO partners within the product and grant platform access based on standard processesSupport BPO AE with migrations between direct, outsourcing, and partner profilesEnable BPO AE to drive sales revenue by assisting on duties related to BPO partner activities such as follow-ups of registrations, user access setup, training and billing queries and implementation timelinesAssist with BPO partner profile cancellations, ensuring that all necessary inactivation activities have been performedInvestigate and escalate grouping queries tied to BPO partner structures and support alignment across systemsAct as a liaison between Sales, Training and Support Ops on partner escalations, training billing and grouping / assignment requestsMonitor and maintain the performance and accuracy of partner-facing platforms and tools when necessaryCross-Team Collaboration
Coordinate across Sales, Support Ops, Training, Partner Management, and Finance for seamless BPO partner engagementProvide feedback on process improvements and SOP updates as BPO partner model evolvesContribute to a cross-functional, cross-skilled sales ops culture by providing backup support across the SDR team when neededPerformance Metrics
Accelerate partner-related activities per month, onboarding, registrations, migrations and cancellationsConvert qualified leads into CRM monthlyMaintain accuracy, system discipline, and SLA-based lead handover performanceIncentive will be driven through the achievement of the BPO AE’s monthly achievement and service level attainment for partner-related activitiesQualifications
2–5 years’ experience in sales operations, partner support, or commercial operationsPrior exposure to payroll, HR tech, or partner / channel ecosystems is highly advantageous (Deel Local Payroll)Strong relationship-building and stakeholder communication skillsExcellent organisational ability with a high attention to detailIntermediate to advanced Excel skills and CRM system familiarity (e.g. Salesforce, Zoho, G Suite, Microsoft)Able to work independently, take ownership of processes, and manage multiple requestsComfortable navigating partner dynamics and operational workflows with minimal oversightProven ability to contribute to scalable process improvements and system optimisationsTotal Rewards
