Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Management
Lead and motivate front of house staff, ensuring high levels of professionalism, teamwork, and engagement.
Train, coach, and mentor team members and new hires to maintain consistent service excellence.Oversee staff rosters, scheduling, and workflow, ensuring adequate coverage during peak service periods.Operational ExcellenceImplement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) for opening, closing, and maintaining the restaurant.
Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.Manage cash handling, petty cash, and waiter cash-ups with accuracy and accountability.Conduct inventory management, stock rotation, and proper storage practices to optimize operations.Guest Experience ManagementMaintain the highest service standards to deliver memorable guest experiences.
Handle guest feedback, compliments, and complaints professionally and promptly.Monitor restaurant ambiance, decor, and overall environment, ensuring a welcoming and inviting atmosphere.Project & Performance ManagementPlan, execute, and oversee special projects, campaigns, and promotional offerings.
Track and achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets, finding solutions to meet and exceed business goals.Requirements
Minimum 3 years' experience in a managerial position, preferably in upscale or fine dining restaurants.Strong team leadership, coordination, and motivation skills.Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.Experience in cash management, inventory control, rostering, and SOP implementation.Exceptional guest experience focus, including complaint resolution and ambiance management.Ability to plan and execute campaigns, promotions, and specialty offerings.This role not for you?
