Job descriptionGrade 12 / Matric. 3–5 years’ experience in a food production environment. Previous supervisory / team leader experience. Knowledge of food safety and quality systems. Ability to lead a team and work under pressure. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate production team activities to meet daily targets.
- Monitor product quality, ensuring compliance with food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, ISO).
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Conduct shift handovers, maintain production records, and report issues.
- Train, mentor, and motivate team members to improve performance.
- Identify process improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and hygiene in the work area.
Minimum Requirements
