Location : Cape Winelands | Shifts : 07 : 00‑19 : 00 (Day / Night, rotational)

Requirements :

SANC registered
2+ years experience in aged care
Willing to work day / night shifts
Own transport
Passion for geriatric care

Key Duties :

Monitor health and support personal care

Supervise care assistants

Report changes to medical staff

Preferred : Experience in frail care, dementia, and team supervision

Enrolled Nurse ICU (High Care)

Location : Cape Town, Western Cape

Requirements :

Matric

Registered with SANC as an Enrolled Nurse

Proven experience as an Enrolled Nurse

Shift work compulsory

Understand basic IPC practices

Key Outputs :

Work within scope of practice

Adhere to hospital policies, protocols and best practices

Knowledge and insight into infection prevention principles

Promote and maintain patient health and give health education

BLS competent

Accompany Doctors on ward rounds

High energy levels and tolerance for stress / pressure

Identify risks and incident policies

Adaptable and able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels

Qualified Nursing Sister / Enrolled Nurse – Old Age Home (Wynberg)

Location : Wynberg, Cape Town, Western Cape

Notes : temporary

Responsibilities :

Deal with Medical Practitioners, Relatives and Junior staff

Observing and Supervising Carers

Dealing with Medication within Scope of Practice

Requirements :

Paid up member of SANC

Qualified Nursing Sister / Enrolled Nurse – Staff (Wynberg)

Location : Wynberg, Cape Town, Western Cape

Requirements :

Minimum 5 years Geriatric experience

Prepared to work shifts and lead own shifts

Day duty only at this stage

Enrolled Nurse – Lilac Residence (New)

Location : Western Cape

Salaries : R250,000 – R750,000

Job Type : Full‑time

Responsibilities :

Lead a team of care staff and promote residents’ rights to privacy, dignity and safety

Communicate effectively with residents, families and management

Supervise and monitor care practices, responding to changing needs of residents

Provide all nursing care in accordance with care policies

Be aware of emergency procedures and SANC code of conduct at all times

Ensure medications are ordered, stored, administered and disposed of as per SANC Act 2005

Enrolled Nurse – Milford Residence (Newlands)

Location : Newlands, Western Cape

Salaries : R104,000 – R156,000

Job Type : Full‑time

Responsibility Overview :

Conduct health assessments and develop nursing care plans

Administer medication in line with SANC regulations

Report health changes to Professional Nurse or doctor

Support orientation of new residents and staff

Maintain infection control and hygiene protocols

Report equipment issues and participate in staff meetings

Work under supervision of a Professional Nurse and delegate appropriately

Enrolled Nurse – Mediclinic Group (Bellville)

Location : Bellville, Western Cape

Job Type : Nursing (Full‑time)

Key Responsibilities :

Deliver safe, quality nursing care according to scope of practice

Identify, prevent and report risks to ensure patient safety

Facilitate positive patient experience

Provide accurate records of all nursing interventions

Participate in a learning environment that builds staff competence

Ensure all stock and equipment are accurately charged and managed

Requirements :

Enrolled Nurse Certificate (essential)

Basic life support training

Infection prevention and control knowledge

Pharmacology, scientific nursing principles and nursing processes

Experience post qualification in theatre (desired)
