Job description3 -5 Years of experience within a SHE Officer position within Building Construction. Knowledge of construction processes equipment materials and products. Understanding and implementing of ISO 18001 and 45001. Drivers License essential. Proficient in Microsoft Office Word Excel Power Point Outlook. Proficient in Internet Searching and Analysis. Ability to deal responsibly with confidential information. Planning organizing prioritizing and Time management skills are important. Proficient in analyzing numerical verbal and other sources of information to provide solutions and Reports. Risk Management Data Entry Customer Service Hotel Experience Construction Experience Data Collection Military Experience Law Enforcement Workers' Compensation Law OSHA Security EPA
Job Description
Essence of the job :
The SHE officer identifies reviews and evaluates hazards within the work environment; implements the controls and the preventive measures; and prevents injuries resulting from environmental factors.
Qualification :
- Registered with SACPCMP as a Health and Safety Officer (Proof of Registration is required)
- Matric Certificate
- SAMTRAC NEBOSCH or equivalent certification
- Knowledge of the National Environmental Act; Occupational Health and Safety Act National Traffic Act; Municipal by-laws and company policies and procedures that will need to be followed .
