BSc Food science / BTech Food technology / BSc Biotechnology degree with minimum 3-5 years’ experienceUnderstanding of high / low risk processing including bakingKnowledge of technical processes and principles (including HACCP, GMP, Supply Chain)Proven track record of relevant industry experience / knowledge across a wide range of productTechnical product knowledge (including characteristics, raw material sourcing / manufacturing processes and quality / safety parameters)Knowledge of packaging functionality and applicationAbility to multitask and be agileAbility to identify problems and implement effective solutions in collaborations with supplier baseTeam player with ability to work effectively with a diverse group of peopleOutstanding and effective communication skillsQuality / high standard mindsetInnovation / continuous improvement mindsetApply food legislation requirements in the categoryAbility to work effectively and productively in a fast-paced, pressurised environmentDeveloped sensory skillsBusiness acumen, judgement and problem-solving abilityStrategic development and planning skillsProject Management SkillsNetworking and influencing skillsAssertive communication and conflict handling skillsPro-active, innovative and entrepreneurialFlexible with ability and willingness to travelAbility to work productively in a stressful environmentProduction / Manufacturing jobs
