Job descriptionDiploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Procurement, or a related field. 3+ years experience in a technical procurement role within a manufacturing or engineering environment. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, technical specifications and industrial materials.
Key Responsibilities :
- Source and procure raw materials, mechanical and electrical components, spare parts and technical services in accordance with engineering specifications and production requirements.
- Liaise with engineering and productions teams to understand technical requirements and ensure accurate procurement.
- Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to obtain optimal pricing, quality and delivery terms.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure the timely replenishment of critical items.
