AnalysisConduct stakeholder analysis, ensuring continuous updates when changes occur.Lead elicitation processes by engaging the right people at the right time.Document Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Business Requirement Specifications (BRS), ensuring quality inputs tested with stakeholders and system teams.Obtain internal and external sign-off on documentation.2.
PlanningDevelop and implement an effective communication plan tailored to different audience levels.Define training methodologies (M, SharePoint, ALC).Establish and execute a structured testing methodology.Design and oversee pilot and roll-out plans.3.
DesignManage Functional Requirement Specification (FRS) playback sessions with internal teams and third parties.Follow the appropriate development methodology (Waterfall / Agile).Finalize FRS by addressing concerns, feedback, and necessary updates.Secure internal and external approvals.4.
DevelopmentMonitor development progress daily or weekly, depending on methodology.Provide regular status reports on development.Ensure seamless collaboration between developers and departments.Develop low-code solutions where applicable.5.
Integration & TestingConduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), managing test cases, defects, and escalations.Monitor and report on progress in daily or weekly standups with relevant stakeholders.6.
DeploymentDefine and execute pilot methodology (big bang vs. staggered approach based on risk assessment).Provide ongoing monitoring and reporting.Obtain business approval and sign-off for changes.Manage roll-out, including communication and training.7.
Operations & MaintenanceEnsure smooth handover of the product to Business As Usual (BAU) teams.Oversee BAU activities, including ticket management and issue resolution.8.
Hardware / Software ReviewTrack end-of-life (EOL) products and services for tech refresh and lifecycle management.Manage updates for on-premise and SaaS applications.Stay informed on emerging technologies relevant to the field.Benchmark processes, hardware, and software against market standards.Identify and implement process and system improvements for efficiency.Knowledge & SkillsKnowledge : Waterfall and Agile methodologies.System implementation and maintenance.Business process mapping and analysis.System integration (ERP and non-ERP environments).POPIA compliance.Cloud-based SaaS applications.Change control and defect management.UI / UX principles and modeling tools (e.g., Draw.io).Skills : Strategic planning and organization.Analytical and critical thinking.Multi-tasking and risk management.Effective communication and stakeholder engagement.Business requirements elicitation and documentation.Qualifications & ExperienceEssential Qualifications : Matric (Grade 12).Relevant degree or higher national diploma in Information Technology, Business Analysis, Computer Science, or related fields.Experience : Minimum of 2 years in an apparel retail business / systems environment.Experience in : Business process analysis and documentation (BRS / BRD).IT and third-party collaboration.Testing execution and system support.Unified Modeling Language (UML) for business and system workflows.
