REQUIREMENTS
- Qualification : Admitted Attorney and Conveyancer in South Africa
- Notary Public qualification is a strong advantage
- Experience : Minimum 5+ years' post-admission experience in conveyancing
- Must have an established and active client base
- Strong technical knowledge of conveyancing and property law
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
- Proven ability to handle a high-volume caseload with accuracy and attention to detail
- Client-focused, professional, and results-oriented
- Demonstrated success in business development and maintaining long-term client relationships
- Able to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
- Family law experience advantageous
DUTIES
Manage the full spectrum of conveyancing transactions, including property transfers, bond registrations, cancellations, and related mattersDraft, review, and process all conveyancing documentation in line with current legal and regulatory requirementsLiaise professionally with clients, estate agents, banks, and other key stakeholders throughout the transaction lifecycleMaintain and grow strong client relationships, leveraging an existing client base to support the firms continued growthEnsure all matters are handled timeously, efficiently, and in full compliance with industry standards and deadlinesProvide guidance and mentorship to junior staff, as neededSalary : R negotiable dependent on experience
