People & Operations Coordinator

With a team of 50+ people across 20+ countries, we help our partners design strategies, manage funds, uncover insights, and measure impact in a digital age.
We are seeking a People & Operations Coordinator to take day‑to‑day ownership of Caribou's people and operational systems.
This role ensures the smooth running of HR processes, internal communications, supplier management, and team logistics — all the things that keep a globally distributed organisation connected and performing at its best. You'll work closely with the Head of People & Operations, the CEO, and the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), ensuring our systems are well maintained, our people processes are efficient, and our culture continues to feel personal, organised, and values‑driven as we grow. This is an ideal role for someone with solid experience in people operations or business coordination who enjoys combining structure, systems, and human connection.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of HR administration, including drafting and processing contracts, onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining BambooHR data integrity.
Support the Head of Operations with supplier and vendor administration, including contracting, invoicing, and payments in coordination with Finance.
Manage small procurement tasks, including company merchandise, business cards, and gifts.
About You
6–8 years' progressive experience in people operations, HR, or business operations support roles.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Confident using digital systems (Google Workspace, Notion, BambooHR, or similar).
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Reliable, responsive, and comfortable working independently in a remote team.
