Job descriptionAt least 2 years of FMCG experience Cashier experience Seafood knowledge (Advantageous) Essential : Matric Advantageous : SAP, CISTECH Must have good written and verbal communication skills Honesty, Integrity, and Reliability Strong attention to detail and accuracy Self-motivated with the ability to work with little supervision A willingness to learn Open to change and learning new systems Able to work under pressure Good time management Available to work public holidays and Saturdays Merchandising : Displaying products in the shop while adhering to food safety standards Customer Service : Dealing with customers in a professional manner, assisting with requests or complaints Health & Safety : Adhering to health & safety regulations Stock Takes : Participating in monthly and ad-hoc stock takes Cross-Department Assistance : Helping in any department within the shop Cashier Functions : Ringing up transactions, processing cash / cards as payment, and performing cashing-up functions Customer Calling : Completing a weekly customer calling sheet Sales Growth : Sourcing new customers to increase stock turnover and sales Sales / Retail / Business Development jobs
