Job descriptionRelevant Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field. 4 - 6 years experience in software development of which 3 years at a specialist level and at least 2 years in RPA development. Microsoft Certified : Power Automate RPA Developer Associate. Scripting languages : VBScript JavaScript. .NET Framework. Microsoft Dataverse. Power Platform : Power Apps AI Builder Power Virtual Agents. Ability to design scalable automation solutions. Familiarity with AI / ML integration. Understanding of business analysis and process. The acknowledgement and assumption of responsibility for actions products decisions and policies within the scope of the role or employment position. Understands a situation issue and or problem by breaking it into smaller pieces or tracing the implications of a situation in a step-by-step way. The ability to take all relevant details into account to ensure that a task is completed to required standards. The ability to identify patterns or connections between situations that are not obviously related and to identify key or underlying issues in complex situation. This is the ability to formulate new concepts based on information gathered. Degree to which one possesses definitive technical and or fundamental understanding of the business. Must be able to systematically identify analyse and resolve existing and anticipated problems in order to reach optimum solutions in a timely manner Ability to be considerate for self and others. Firm belief in the reliability truth or ability of someone or something. Decisions practices processes and transactions are transparent and fair. The quality of being upright truthful sincere and freedom from deceit or fraud. Guided by values ability to demonstrate moral judgement and doing the right thing consistently. Activities tasks and practices associated with obtaining and using knowledge in business areas functions and products. Ability to determine trends from raw data. Contributions to improving operational efficiencies including re-evaluation of processes and provision of recommendations to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :
Process
- Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for automation using Microsoft Power Platform tools.
- Collaborate with business analysts to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop test and deploy RPA bots in accordance with SARSs governance and security standards.
- Maintain and monitor bots to ensure optimal performance and resolve any issues.
- Document automation solutions and provide training / support to end-users and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with SARSs data privacy cybersecurity and internal control policies.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the RPA Centre of Excellence.
- Apply and utilise systems in a manner that ensures efficient and effective service delivery optimised quality financial accuracy and calculation.
- Ensure that business requirements are clearly identified prioritised and satisfied by appropriate technical and or business process solutions.
- Provide process solution support to institutionalise process initiatives.
- Draw on own technical or professional expertise knowledge and experience to identify and recommend tactical solutions to defined problems in practices.
- Recommend changes to optimise processes systems practice areas and associated procedures and execute the implementation of change and innovation.
Governance
Ensure that completed work adhere to relevant policies procedures governance and legislative requirements and report on deviations and discrepancies

Successful candidate must be based in Gauteng region.
Employment type : Hybrid contract position until 31st of March 2026.
