Chief Operations Officer

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the CEO and executive team on organizational strategy.

Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve business goals.

Lead and mentor senior departmental heads; foster a performance-driven culture.

Oversee daily operations, process optimization, and efficiency improvements.

Manage budgets, track KPIs, and ensure financial and regulatory compliance.

Monitor risks, lead audits, and ensure operational compliance.

Maintain strong client and vendor relationships; oversee contracts and SLA reviews.

Implement technology solutions to improve operational efficiency.

Develop high-performing teams and promote continuous learning and innovation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or equivalent.

Postgraduate qualifications (advantageous).

10+ years in Transport, Logistics, or Supply Chain industry.

Minimum 5 years in a senior operations leadership role.

Experience in aviation and road freight (preferred).
