A prestigious 5★ luxury safari lodge in the Greater Kruger is seeking an experienced Senior Lodge Management Couple to oversee its daily operations. This is a dynamic, hands-on leadership role suited to an experienced couple with a proven track record in luxury lodge management, guest service excellence, and staff leadership.

The couple will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, seamless lodge operations, and the effective management of multiple lodge facilities.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily lodge operations, ensuring consistent 5★ guest service.

Lead, mentor, and manage staff in line with company values and policies.

Maintain clear communication across departments and with senior management.

Drive high service standards and guest satisfaction.

Oversee security, health & safety compliance, and maintenance operations.

Manage budgets, reporting, and financial controls.

Proactively plan for lodge logistics and operational needs.

Deliver innovation and creative solutions to enhance guest experiences.

Build strong relationships with guests, staff, suppliers, and industry partners.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum 5 years of luxury safari lodge management experience at senior level.

Proven ability to manage large teams in a busy, high-end environment.

Strong organisational and time management skills.

Excellent people skills with a hands-on management style.

Hospitality qualification (advantageous).

Solid knowledge of food, wine, and guest service standards.

Professional, well-presented, and mature approach.

Strong interest in nature and safari operations.

Valid driver’s license and own transport.

RSA citizenship or valid work permit.

Please note : This position is not suitable for candidates with pets. Families with older children in boarding school (not requiring daily school runs) may be considered.

Salary & Benefits

R60,000 – R70,000 (Cost to Company, collective for the couple).

Live-in position with meals on duty.

Market-related benefits aligned to industry standards.
