Senior Network Engineer

This role is crucial for designing, implementing, and maintaining our internal and customer network infrastructure to support organizational growth and technology advancement. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of technical expertise and a proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams.

Responsibilities :

• Network Design and Implementation : Design and deploy robust networking solutions that meet the business’s scalability, performance, and security requirements.
• Maintenance and Optimization : Regularly assess network performance, troubleshoot complex network issues, and ensure continuous network availability.
• Security Management : Implement and manage network security tools and protocols, such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
• Project Management : Lead network-related projects from conception through to completion, including planning, execution, and resource allocation.
• Capacity Planning : Analyze and predict network growth trends to ensure infrastructure scalability and performance.
• Mentorship and Leadership : Mentor junior network engineers, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.
• Vendor Management : Negotiate with vendors to procure network hardware and software solutions that align with business objectives.
• Documentation and Compliance : Maintain comprehensive documentation for network architectures, configurations, processes, and compliance records.

Qualifications

Experience

3 years Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Minimum of 7 years of experience in network engineering with at least 3 years in a senior role.
