Job descriptionTo teach Mathematics at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. To participate in research and community projects in the department. To liaise with schools and related learning communities inside and outside the University. To participate in all departmental administration activities, including registration, orientation, awards, and Funza Lusaka bursary allocation. To promote excellence and quality in teaching and learning, community engagements, and research activities. To participate in marketing and recruitment strategies of the department. To develop and design teaching and learning materials and lead programme teams according to The Minimum Requirements for Teacher Education Qualifications. To participate in relevant training activities for professional development. To assist the department in always complying with internal and external regulatory bodies' requests when necessary. NQF Level 9 Master of Education degree with specialisation in Intermediate Phase Mathematics and assessment teaching in the General Education and Training (GET) Bands. Candidates must have adequate and relevant teaching experience in their GET band teaching Intermediate Phase Mathematics. A minimum of three (3) years of lecturing experience including teaching Intermediate Phase Mathematics at a Higher Education Institution.
