Client : A leading petrochemical engineering company based in Cape Town.

We are seeking two experienced Construction Managers to join our client’s team at the start of next year.

This position aligns with the responsibilities of a typical 8.1(a) Construction Manager appointment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site construction activities, ensuring strict compliance with safety, quality, and permit-to-work requirements.
• Manage and coordinate site personnel, including foremen and subcontractors.
• Prepare and submit detailed daily progress reports while maintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
• Interpret and execute work in accordance with engineering drawings and project plans.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor construction progress against project milestones.
• Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to identify and resolve on-site technical challenges.
• Manage the procurement, control, and efficient use of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
