Relevant administrative and legal qualification is essential, particularly knowledge of King Codes and Companies Actpliance management certificate or similar certification.5-8 years relevant work experience.Governance and compliance experience in an agricultural environment will be a distinct advantage.Must have a valid drivers licence.Ability to work independently.Contract management and negotiation experience is crucial.Results driven with sense of urgency.Experience in the regulatory environment.Good interpersonal and communication skills.Working knowledge of corporate process is important.To be considered for appointment, candidate must be a South African citizen.Responsibilities : Working closely with the CEOSecretarial duties to Joint Venture CompaniesImplement and maintain a structured and organised document retention system.Maintain statutory books, including registers of members, directors, and secretaries.Schedule meetings in accordance with annual company work plans.Coordinate and collate Board and other meeting packs, and distribution thereof.Organise, prepare agendas and attend meetings, take and distribute minutes, formulate decision matrixes and attend to action plans.Participate in meeting discussions as and when required and provide governance advice to members and management.Deal with correspondence, collating information and writing reports to ensure that decisions made are communicated to the relevant stakeholders.Develop and oversee systems that ensure the companies comply with all applicable codes.Prepare and review company contracts.Logistical arrangements including travelling claims and venues.
