CNC Operator

Requirements

• Qualifications for operating CNC machines
• Experience with CNC machines (lathes and milling), use of Fanuc and Siemens controls
• Some basic setting experience would be advantageous
• Understanding of production manufacturing an advantage
• Ability to use measuring equipment (vernier, height gauge, bore gauge, micrometer)

Primary duties / responsibilities

Ensure daily production quantities are maintained

Inspection of parts to ensure conformance

Movements of products between operations

Providing feedback to supervisor (including on scrap and maintenance requirements)

Looking after equipment and consumables.

Housekeeping

Ensuring safe working on the machines.

Secondary duties / responsibilities

Assist during periods of increased activity or when personnel are taking leave.

Be involved with special projects and / or sensitive products that require additional attention (for instance on product development that may occur)

Additional information

Working hours : Monday - Thursday, 07h00 - 16h00 and Friday 07h00 - 13h00, day shift

Possibility of overtime as required operationally
