Our Client is looking for a firecracker to join their hyperfocused team hacking growth at their portfolio companies. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the growth of innovative startups.

In this role you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities engaging with potential clients and qualifying leads all while working within a supportive and inclusive workplace that values diversity and encourages personal and professional development.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead Generation & Outreach :

  • Prospect new business opportunities through outbound calls emails and social media outreach.
  • Identify and research potential clients for our portfolio companies and focused on the B2B approach creating tailored outreach strategies for each company.
  • Work with internal teams and portfolio companies to refine target audiences and sales strategies.

Qualify Leads :

  • Engage with leads to understand their needs pain points and business objectives.
  • Qualify and prioritise inbound and outbound leads to pass along to the teams of the portfolio companies.
  • Relationship Building :

  • Build rapport and develop relationships with decisionmakers at various levels of an organisation.
  • Cultivate trust through empathy and active listening ensuring that potential clients feel understood and valued.
  • Collaborate with Interdepartmental Teams :

  • Work closely with the other teams within portfolio companies to align outreach strategies and refine sales processes.
  • Provide feedback and insights from your conversations with prospects to help shape product positioning and messaging.
  • Pipeline Management :

  • Track outreach and lead interactions in CRM systems ensuring accurate records of leads and followup actions.
  • Maintain an organised pipeline of qualified leads and progress through the stages of the sales funnel.
  • Continuous Learning :

  • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to ensure that sales strategies are innovative and effective.
  • Participate in regular team meetings share best practices and contribute to a culture of learning and growth.
  • Requirements

    Key Qualifications : Experience :

  • Experience in with Revenue Operations (RevOps) is essential.
  • Proven experience in sales business development representative or in a similar sales role (in B2B sales). UK / EU experience is essential.
  • Experience with cold calling email outreach and using social media for prospecting.
  • Further experience in Sales Strategy and Customer Success would be advantageous.
  • Skills :

  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to adapt your approach depending on the audience.
  • Ability to engage and influence key decisionmakers in a variety of industries.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage a high volume of leads and outreach efforts.
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically and problemsolve in a fastpaced environment.
  • Ability to think laterally and deal with high levels of complexity.
  • Traits :

  • Conscientiousness : Highly organised selfmotivated and detailoriented ensuring that all outreach efforts are efficient and professional.
  • Influence : Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to persuade and build relationships with potential clients in a consultative manner.

  • Technical Proficiency :

  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce HubSpot Zoho Pipedrive etc. sales automation tools and Microsoft Office.
  • Adaptability :

  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment where priorities may shift rapidly.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Familiarity with the Fintech Insurtech SaaS or B2B sales sectors.
  • Experience with sales enablement tools and technologies.
