POSITION INFO :

Minimum requirements :

• Degree in Human Resources Management or related field
• 5 years’ experience in a similar role with proven track record in managing HR functions
• Experience in using various types of HR systems, HR metrics
• Sound knowledge of HR processes & procedures and legal compliance
• In-depth knowledge of BCEA, LRA, EE, BBB-EE, POPI and PAIA Acts and HR best practices, policies and regulations
• Sage 300 People experience is preferential
• Build, lead and mentor the HR department to ensure efficient and effective HR operations
• Manage Office Administrator and Housekeeping staff
• Onboarding and offboarding
• Collaborate with management team to ensure the right talent is appointed and retained
• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategies and keep HR policies updated
• Address and resolve team issues and conflicts providing support and guidance as needed
• Ensure compliance with all necessary regulations and internal policies (all statutory and legal compliance)
• Oversee performance management processes, including appraisals and development plans
• Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance talent skills and performance
• Manage and promote a positive company culture that aligns with our values and mission
• Plan and prepare budgets relating to the HR function and ensure that budgets are adhered to
• Prepare audit packs and participate in audits
