Hr SupremeSouth AfricaThe Chef : New Product Development will be based at Elvis Brew's headquarters and test kitchen, playing a crucial role in creating and refining menu items for our padstal-style locations. This role involves not only developing new culinary products but also implementing systems for stock and wastage management, ensuring consistency across all franchise locations, and training staff to uphold Elvis Brew's standards.Key Responsibilities : Menu and Product Development : Develop and test new menu items and seasonal specials that align with Elvis Brew's brand.Regularly update and improve recipes.System Implementation and Training : Create and implement systems for stock management and wastage control.Train staff across various locations to use these systems effectively.Provide support and guidance to ensure systems are consistently followed.Operational Oversight : Collaborate with franchisees to optimize kitchen operations and maintain quality.Visit stores to monitor compliance with operational and food safety standards.Work closely with suppliers to source quality ingredients at competitive prices.Food Quality and Safety : Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality across all locations.Implement and enforce food safety protocols in line with local regulations.Continuous Improvement and Innovation : Stay informed on current culinary trends and customer preferences, particularly within South AfricaAdapt and innovate products and processes to meet evolving business needs.Qualifications : Culinary Expertise : Proven experience in menu development, preferably in a casual dining or padstal setting.Creative Thinker : Ability to innovate while maintaining alignment with the brand's identity.System-Oriented : Skilled in designing and managing operational systems, particularly for stock and wastage control.Leadership and Training : Strong leadership skills with experience in staff training and development.Organized and Reliable : Excellent organizational skills and a history of reliability and punctuality.Brand Alignment : Deep understanding and appreciation of Elvis Brew's mission and values.Technical Proficiency : Proficient in inventory management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and online training platforms.Key Attributes : Proactive problem solver who can anticipate and address operational challenges.Strong communicator and motivator, capable of fostering teamwork across multiple locations.Adaptable and resilient, thriving in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
