Joseph Rowe Law FirmSouth AfricaThe firm provides a wide range of legal services which include civil and commercial litigation, citizenship by investment, real estate purchase, sale and development, probate and administration of estates, legal advice and opinions on various offshore financial products.The position is based in Grenada.The successful candidate would be expected to : Represent clients at all levels of court (Magistrate's Court, High Court, Court of Appeal)Prepare legal opinions on various mattersConduct research and prepare well-reasoned legal submissions and legal opinionsInteract directly with clients and manage clients effectivelyManage cases and files efficientlyPrepare and vet documents for the purchase and sale of propertyProvide legal support to the clerical staff in the carrying out of their functionsQualifications : Bachelor of Laws Degree; and,Continuing Legal Education CertificateThe ideal candidate would possess the following : Post qualification experience of at least 3 yearsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work well independently and as part of a teamExcellent organizational skillsDetail-orientedAbility to think criticallyFlexibility to work extended hours or on weekends (if required)Compensation and Benefits : Reimbursement of relocation cost (airfare, reasonable shipping)Complimentary accommodation for first monthAssistance with identifying suitable permanent accommodationPayment of monthly premiums for medical insurance plan selected by the FirmLaptop computer (remains property of the Firm)Mobile smartphone (remains property of the Firm)Eligibility for annual bonus payable in December after completion of one year of employment.
