Warehouse Manager job vacancy in Stellenbosch. Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and manage the annual warehouse plan, operating budget, resource planning, and cost optimisation. Oversee finished goods inventory across on-site and off-site facilities, ensuring accurate stockholding, traceability, and security. Manage the receipt, storage, picking, loading, and dispatch of finished products. Coordinate the accurate and timely fulfilment of local and export customer orders. Work closely with Sales, Logistics, Planning, Production, and Finance teams to ensure efficient operations. Drive continuous improvement in warehouse processes, space utilisation, and operational controls. Manage relationships with suppliers, bottling partners, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders. Ensure warehouse policies and procedures comply with legislation, health and safety, and quality standards. Lead, manage, train, and develop a high-performing warehouse team. Oversee warehouse operations across multiple facilities and ensure international best-practice standards are maintained. Requirements: Relevant tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehousing, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 8–10 years’ experience in warehousing, distribution, or logistics operations. At least 5 years’ experience in a management or senior supervisory position. Proven experience managing finished goods inventory in a high-volume, multi-site environment. Experience in the wine, beverage, FMCG, or similar industry highly advantageous. Experience managing local and export order fulfilment, including documentation and customs compliance. Experience working with logistics, freight, transport, and third-party service providers. Proven budget management and cost-control experience. Strong knowledge of warehouse best practices, inventory control, and stock management systems. Forklift operator’s licence advantageous. Strong financial and commercial acumen.
