Warehouse SupervisorQualificationsMinimum : Diploma in Warehousing / Logistics / Supply Chain / Procurement or related fields (NQF 5)Advantageous : None specifiedExperienceMinimum : Up to 5 years experience in Warehousing / Inventory and Stock Control / Logistics / Supply Chain / Procurement in a Manufacturing environment1 to 2 years of this experience should be at Supervisory levelAdvantageous : None specifiedKEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPAs) & KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)1.

Warehousing OperationsKey Activities : Oversee and ensure successful weekly cycle countsConduct monthly stocktakes with production / support departmentsApply FIFO and Line of Sight (LOS) principles in stock managementInvestigate stock variances and implement corrective actionsContinuously review stock control proceduresAssist Planning with verification of receipts and issuesEnsure proper coding and storage of received productsProcess non-conforming products and remove scrap dailyInvestigate and manage damaged stock in WIPAdhere to consignment stock proceduresCreate and maintain work instructionsStay updated with developments in inventory control2.

Administration, Systems and ReportingKey Activities : Maintain SAP data integrityProcess credit notes and maintain recordsCapture returned rotations and update recordsAssign new invoice numbers and retain documentationMaintain checks and charges spreadsheetRecord scrap differencesEnsure timely ordering of stationery and protective clothingComplete and submit health and safety check sheets3.

ComplianceKey Activities : Operate within established controls and proceduresReport departmental risks and concerns to managementEnsure compliance with all regulations and cost control measuresEnforce health and safety regulations in the warehouse4.

Customer ServiceKey Activities : Maintain internal and external customer relationshipsRepresent The Company in stakeholder meetingsSolve problems with integrity aligned to company values5.

Staff SupervisionKey Activities : Ensure all staff have signed performance agreementsConduct quarterly employee performance appraisalsIdentify development areas and create action plans with HRFacilitate ongoing training and developmentAddress employee relations issues fairly6.
