We are seeking a professional Hotel Duty Manager to oversee front office and food & beverage operations during assigned shifts, ensuring seamless service, operational efficiency, and exceptional guest experiences. The successful candidate will act as the hotels representative on duty, managing both guest-facing and back-of-house operations.

Lead hotel operations during assigned shifts across Front Office and F&B to deliver luxury-standard service and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Act as Hotel Manager on Duty, overseeing Front Office and F&B operations during assigned shifts
- Ensure smooth check-in / check-out processes and manage reservations and guest services
- Supervise, mentor, and support front office and F&B teams, maintaining high service standards
- Address and resolve guest complaints or requests promptly and professionally
- Coordinate with housekeeping, kitchen, and other departments to ensure seamless operations
- Monitor service delivery, ensure adherence to SOPs, and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Oversee cashiering, billing, and audit procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Support staff training and development to maintain operational excellence
- Uphold hotel standards of professionalism, grooming, and guest interaction
- Live and promote the hotels values of Teamwork, Respect, Innovation, Accountability, Passion, and Integrity
Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum 35 years experience in hotel operations, with exposure to both Front Office and F&B operations in a 4 / 5-star propertyPrevious supervisory or duty management experience in hotels or luxury resortsStrong knowledge of Opera PMS or similar systems and F&B operationsHospitality qualification or diploma advantageousExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to remain calm under pressure and resolve guest issues efficientlySouth African citizen with a valid IDFlexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidaysKey Competencies
