The ideal candidate is motivated & thrives in working under pressure to achieve sales targets through strong client relationships, supplying excellent & reliable client-sales, specialised product service-support and systems-application solutions. Your Industrial Sector could include : 1) Factory & Process Automation (e.g., Food & Beverage, Automotive, Petrochemical etc.) or 2) Power & Renewables (e.g. Solar, Power Plants, BESS, etc.) you will report to the sales manager, working closely with the sales & tech support team to provide critical & professional services to existing & new clients (such as engineers, within both government and blue-collar / private companies) within the industrial automation market.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide sales services and product support solutions to the industrial automation industry.
- Provide excellent and innovative sales & support services, communications, consulting and technical sales solutions across our full range of specialised award-winning, ruggedised products for client applications within the industrial automation industry.
- Grow existing database, generates new leads.
- Build strong customer relationships with dedicated efficient sales, successful solutions, and admin services.
- Tenders & Projects : from conception to completion
- Maintain and update CRM system.
- Travelling to client sites for assessments and presentations
- Service-driven professional, promotes and supports efficiency, service improvement and specialised dedicated support for the company and its customers.
- Achieve Monthly Sales Targets
- Achieve external calls & meeting targets
- Achieves weekly sales meeting targets
- Works well with peers to become part of the growing team.
- Reports to and works closely with the sales manager.
- Keeps updated with product and industry innovations
EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS, & SKILLS REQUIRED
3 - 5 years successful external sales experience within a similar industry, experience providing engineering / technical sales support solutions (provide references)Must have experience in the Mining IndustrySales / background in Engineering, Networking, Electrical industrial automation, plant automation solutions (or similar) could hold an unfinished electrical engineering qualification, or industry experience (advantageous)BCom / Electrical or similar (Advantageous)CISCO / CCNA N+ (Advantageous)Basic knowledge of SAP software (training provided)CRM experienceMS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint (presentations)REQUIREMENTS
