Reports to Finance Manager
Located at Midrand, Johannesburg
ABOUT THE ROLE :
The Supervisor will be responsible managing the Midrand Office by ensuring procurement processes are adhered to in purchasing equipment and infrastructure repairs, driving health and safety regulations and manage company fleet in collaboration with external service providers and stakeholders. Moreover, the incumbent must have experience with handling import and export of goods into the Republic of South Africa.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of main office infrastructure and systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, IT network and safety systems.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain high quality and safe environments.
- Manage external outsourced warehouses to ensure efficient storage and distribution of goods.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely ordering of stock to prevent shortages in collaboration with Sales, Technical and Belgium teams.
- Manage and resolve demand-related stock issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Analyze and validate inventory requirements based on service and inventory targets.
- Oversee the registration, maintenance and repair of the company's vehicle fleet in collaboration with the 3rd party insurer.
- Supervise and support Customer Service team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Act as the Health and Safety representative, ensuring all practices comply with legal regulations and company policies.
- Serve as the ISO representative, ensuring all operations meet ISO standards.
- Perform all tasks in accordance with JSOX and ISO quality requirements, taking Nipro values into account.
- Assist the Finance Manager in planning, organizing, and coordinating functions relating to the operation of the business.
- Partner with the Sales Manager to develop and update sales forecasts on customer and material levels.
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :
Associate’s degree in office management, Logistics, or a related field. A bachelor's degree is preferred.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in office management and logistics, preferably from a medical devices background.Strong leadership and supervisory skills, excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, and knowledge of healthcare regulations and safety standards.Certification in ISO 13485 will be an advantage.Closing date :
