Finance Manager : Technical Accounting Market related

Purpose :

The incumbent will be responsible for ownership of statutory, technical and controls processes as well as business development financial support.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key job outputs :

Tax

Audit management (internal, external, BBEEE)

Group reporting (Tagetik) and reconciliations

Group reporting pack

Intangible assets

Fixed assets

Capex

Controls and process optimisation

New business development – support on P&Ls, contract optimisation

IFRS 16

Stock adjustments

Ad hoc projects as required

Timely complete all annual Integrity & Compliance trainings and declarations (Conflict of Interest, Code of Conduct, ABAB Awareness, Data Protection)

Forwarding of all received Product Quality Complaints, Adverse Events and Medical Enquiries to the relevant person in Quality Assurance / Pharmacovigilance / Medical Affairs

Desired Experience & Qualification

Qualification :

CA(SA)

Experience :

• Minimum 5 years post articles experience
• Overall strong IFRS knowledge, strong financial modelling, excellent excel skills
• Experience with Power BI and Business Central would be advantageous
• Team management
• People skills – highly adapted interpersonal skills and excellent communication and ability to collaborate and influence both internally and externally
• Problem solving analysis skills
• Priority setting – initiative and follow through
• Time management and deadline driven
• Ability to analyze complex data, seek relevant opinions
• Detail oriented
• Ability to work under pressure
