NPD Project Manager - Howick

Our client is seeking an organised and detail-oriented NPD Project Manager to oversee New Product Development (NPD) and packaging projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead NPD and packaging projects from concept to launch ensuring efficient execution within established timelines and budget constraints
• Manage the NPD budget ensuring cost optimisation and maximum return on investment
• Administer the NPD management system in alignment with FSSC 22000 certification
• Develop strong relationships with external suppliers and manage supplier assets quotations and printing timelines
• Coordinate with internal teams (Food Technologists Procurement Marketing Food Safety Production and R&D) to ensure project success
• Monitor project progress communicate updates to stakeholders and ensure meeting strategic timelines and deadlines
• Oversee commercial costings adjusting where necessary in collaboration with the cost accountant
• Support the marketing team with packaging / product updates as well as design changes
• Negotiate with suppliers and third parties to ensure fair value and drive successful project outcomes
• Receive NPD projects from Marketing EXCO and support from the Marketing Manager reporting directly to them
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams including Sales and Finance to achieve project goals and stay within budget
