Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Intermediate User Experience (UX) Designer to join our dynamic design team at one of South Africa's newest and innovative banks. The ideal candidate will be tasked with designing seamless and innovative digital banking experiences for a mobile platform, ensuring a customer-centred approach in all design elements.

This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders, to create intuitive, accessible, and engaging user interfaces that meet the strategic objectives of the bank.

KEY RESULT AREAS

• Design Execution : Create high-fidelity prototypes and wireframes for digital banking applications. Ensure designs are in line with the bank's brand guidelines and digital standards.
• User Testing : Assist in planning and assisting in usability tests and other design research activities. Take the user feedback and iterate designs accordingly to enhance user experience and satisfaction.
• Collaboration : Work closely with product owners, developers, and other team members to ensure designs are feasible and implemented accurately. Participate in agile development processes and stand-ups.
• Innovation : Stay abreast of UX trends, tools, and technologies. Propose innovative design solutions that enhance user experience and drive digital banking forward.
• Mentorship : Mentor junior designers, providing guidance and feedback to help them grow in their UX design skills.
