Job descriptionQualified Actuary with 8+ years’ experience in insurance, actuarial, engineering, or statistical environments. Exposure to Power BI , R coding , and SQL (preferably PostgreSQL). Advanced VBA programming and MS Office capabilities. High integrity, strong work ethic, and natural leadership skills. Excellent communication skills for non-statistical audiences. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a drive to finish projects.

Our dynamic client is seeking a tech-savvy yet business-minded Senior Actuary to lead their actuarial team and drive innovation in a non-traditional environment.
About the Role
As Senior Manager of the Actuarial Department , you will :
- Take responsibility for the critical output of the Actuarial Department.
- Manage and oversee a team of an Actuary and 5–6 actuarial students.
- Report directly to the Actuarial Director.
- Develop, design, and implement processes and reporting for ongoing measurement of business performance.
- Perform statistical modelling, business projections, stress testing, and scenario analysis.
- Evaluate and improve processes, design credible statistical tests, and oversee financial calculations.
- Handle ad-hoc data queries and reporting.
