Position Overview
The Business Development Engineer will bridge the gap between technical solutions and market needs. The ideal candidate combines engineering knowledge with strong commercial acumen, capable of identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and supporting technical proposals.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in targeted markets
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer needs assessments
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and tenders
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop customized solutions for clients
- Support pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and sales planning
- Track, report, and analyze sales metrics and business performance
- Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry networking events
- Contribute to product development and service improvement initiatives based on customer feedback
Qualifications
