Applications that meet the stated requirements are invited for a vacancy exists for a dynamic and driven SITE MANAGER to join a team based at the Western Cape - Somerset West area. This role reports directly to Contract Executive, in the Landscaping & Turf Business Unit.

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12

National Diploma in Horticulture or any related tertiary qualification

5-7 years’ Technical experience in Landscape maintenance

Strong Horticultural knowledge and plant care expertise

Manage a medium to large staff compliment

Strong teamwork and communication abilities

Will be required to formulate quotes, chair meetings

Fully computer literate (MS Office proficiency essential)

Basic Financial knowledge (Quotations, budgeting & Cost control)

Strong problem-solving ability

Duties & Responsibilities

Serve as main client with clients.

Ensure effective communication and cooperation across with all levels of people

Manage subordinates in line with company policies and procedures

Maintain regular weekly communication with line management.

Perform Ad hoc duties as required by management includes overtime

Conduct site walk- about and draw-up detailed reports

Complete machinery checklists and submit reports to the manager.

Assist in staff discipline processes and identify staff for potential development.

Maintain daily attendance records on a daily basis and ensure accurate submission to payroll processing

Do client monthly client specific audits and satisfaction surveys
