Job descriptionMinimum of 5 years experience as a site manager at a construction site Solid knowledge of construction methodologies and building requirements and regulations. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Ability to problem-solve and make effective decisions under pressure. Relevant tertiary qualification would be advantageous. Valid Code B (or higher) drivers licence
Key responsibilities
- Manage and supervise daily site operations – Responsible for one project at a time.
- Coordinate construction teams to deliver on project timelines and quality standards
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, building and environmental requirements
- Monitor progress, address challenges and report to projects managers.
- Train, mentor and guide junior foreman and site staff.
- Manage equipment, materials and sub-contractors on site.
