Job Description

• Define and implement growth strategies and processes
• Lead and motivate subordinates to advance employee engagement
• Develop a strategic plan to advance the company's mission and objectives
• Oversee company operations to ensure production efficiency and quality
• Assess and manage the principal risks of the company
• Ensure that the company's financial performance and growth are robust
• Review and approve the company's financials, budget, and investments
• Establish and maintain relationships with partners and stakeholders

The Successful Applicant

A successful Chief Operating Officer (COO) should have :

• A degree in Business Management, or related field
• At least 20 years experience in senior operations leadership positions in either the freight or logistics sector
• Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles
• Familiarity with diverse business functions such as marketing, PR, finance etc.
• In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices
• An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organisational and leadership skills
• Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and public speaking skills
