Clover is seeking to employ a proactive and experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead the Western Cape Sales Execution team.
The main purpose of the position will be to maximise sales, increase revenue and expand market share within the Western Cape region by developing and implementing sales strategies, leading a sales team, and achieving sales targets.
Minimum Requirements
- DEGREE
- Relevant experience in applying job related concepts, techniques and processes at the required level
- Business English : Fluent
- Code 08 Driver's license
- Computer literacy (Advanced)
- Experience in working with senior management
- Travel off-site / overnight stay
Duties and Responsibilities
Implement and manage the Sales execution strategyManage Area Sales Managers and / or Field Sales Managers in the regionIncrease profit and sales volumes within the region and within product categoriesOptimise sales execution through maintaining standard operating proceduresDevelop and maintain sound relationships with customers, Key Account Managers, Telesales and DistributionImplement and measure short and long term sales driversManage costImplement and control shelf management initiatives of the Company and PrincipalsLiaise with Marketing, Key Account Managers and PrincipalsImplement agreed sales programmesControl shelf management initiativesReinforce the Company's merchandising principlesMonitor inventory levelsEnsure product availabilityTake action to prevent short dated and expired stockEnhance performance and team developmentManage employee performance and developmentTrain sub-ordinates according to identified needsDevelop sales and business skills of Account Managers and MerchandisersCoach sub-ordinates to ensure the required standards of sales execution are metIdentify and develop young talent#J-18808-Ljbffr
