Overview

Efthree (Pty) Ltd is seeking for a Junior Electronic Engineer to join our team in Durban / Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electronic systems, ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory standards, and contributing to innovative engineering solutions.

Minimum Requirements

Diploma / Degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
2 - 3 years of proven working experience in electronic engineering or a related industry
Proficiency in CAD / EDA tools (Altium Designer or OrCAD)

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and test electronic circuits, systems, and components

Conduct fault-finding, maintenance, and improvements on existing electronic systems

Prepare and review technical documentation, reports, and specifications

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions

Support project planning, budgeting, and implementation

Research and apply new technologies to improve product performance

Skills

Strong knowledge of circuit design, PCB layout, and embedded systems

Solid understanding of microcontrollers, sensors, and communication protocols

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Project management and leadership skills
