Role Overview :
As the Product Manager, you’ll drive innovation in travel offerings, ensure competitiveness, and shape products that delight clients and meet business goals. You will work closely with suppliers, sales, marketing, and operations to deliver seamless travel experiences.
Key Responsibilities :
Product Development & Innovation
- Design and manage competitive travel packages across Southern Africa
- Conduct market research to spot trends and new opportunities
- Regularly update and refine existing products for enhanced value
Supplier Relations
Build and manage strong relationships with suppliers (hotels, lodges, activity providers, etc.)Negotiate rates and secure favourable contract termsEnsure suppliers meet high-quality service standardsMarketing & Sales Support
Collaborate with marketing to enhance online content and campaignsSupport sales with in-depth product knowledgeRepresent the company at trade shows and eventsOperational Management
Ensure efficient and accurate product deliveryMonitor product performance and make data-driven improvementsProvide training and support to internal teamsSystems Proficiency
Use Tourplan and WETU systems for product updates and operationsWhat We’re Looking For :
8–10 years of experience in the travel / tourism industryStrong understanding of Southern Africa as a destinationExceptional supplier negotiation and relationship skillsProficiency in Tour plan and WETU is essentialExcellent communication and organisational abilitiesWillingness to travel within Southern AfricaProactive, agile, and driven with proven management capabilitiesReady to take the lead in shaping unforgettable travel journeys?
