Summary

To ensure company products are engineered to local market requirements by designing, developing, testing, and introducing locally manufactured components. This involves adapting German sourced designs to local environmental conditions and issuing technical data aligned with the component engineering standards to meet the following criteria :

• Problem-free product manufacturing
• Compliance with local content requirements
• Unique product features
• Safety and reliability in service
• Support for discontinued models still required in South Africa
• Adherence to the Product Emergence Process (PEP) manual

Key Tasks

Qualifications

National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years' experience in design and development of automotive components for volume production.

Essential Skills

Preferred

German language proficiency.
