ROLE PURPOSE
To implement an effective maintenance system within customer facilities and ensure SLA deliveryMAIN OUTPUTS
Drive timeous execution of effective maintenance strategies i.e. planned, preventative, corrective and emergency maintenanceIdentify maintenance risks on Client’s property and equipment towards evaluation and resolutionImplementation of an effective HSE, Quality & Risk Management system in conjunction in accordance to Client needsEnsure optimum utilization of available resources in various maintenance worksEnsure timely delivery and appropriateness of parts and spares for effective maintenance executionContinuously monitor and evaluate maintenance work performed by technical staff to ensure quality, cost optimization and timely execution as per SLA, work instructions and Client’s instructionIdentify gaps and deficiencies in services, advise and effect solutions as part of Continuous Improvement on FM services renderedManage back to back SLA agreements with suppliers and contractorsMonitor service providers’ (contractors) performance and effect corrective action on any deviations to the SLAAssist in the management of technical projects and provide technical support, where applicableDemonstrate and instill effective adherence to processes on infrastructure maintenanceExplore and recommend innovative methods, based on best practices, in order to bring about cost-effective solutionsManage operations within allocated budgetManage technical staff performance and facilitate improvement through regularly monitoring performance and providing required coaching, support and feedbackManage performance & conflicts within subordinate employees & effect corrective actions, in line with company policies / procedureEnsure adequate staff placement i.e. prepare suitable shift-roster and manage / approve applicable leave for subordinate employeesResponsible for training, coaching, mentoring & development of technical staffQUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS / KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
The Applicant must meet the following requirements :
B-Tech or Degree in Engineering : Mechanical / Electrical / Civil or related formal qualificationMatric (Senior Certificate)Valid SA Drivers License5yrs relevant engineering experience in maintenance engineering, CRM & Property ManagementEngineering maintenance, CRM & Property ManagementMS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Project & MS Outlook (Intermediate skill level), SAP knowledgeOHS Act, ISO 9001 Quality Management & Risk Management SystemsFUNDAMENTAL COMPETENCIES
