Store Manager – Malmesbury, Western Cape
Overview
Internal vacancy for a Store Manager at Malmesbury. The incumbent reports to the Regional Manager and is responsible for planning and coordinating store operations, overseeing sales to customers, and delivering service excellence.
Responsibilities
- Take direct responsibility for the profitability of the store by ensuring targets are met.
- Ensure staff are trained on correct sales procedures and have good product knowledge.
- Maintain a high level of customer service and assist customers with information.
- Resolve customer complaints quickly and effectively.
- Inform staff of new product lines and any price changes.
- Manage staff rosters and coordinate stock takes.
- Keep and analyze records of sales figures and financial transactions, including filing.
- Implement and oversee security procedures.
- Manage staff as needed and support leadership as required.
Qualifications and Experience
Matric3 – 5 years' experience in a furniture retail environment, with at least 2 years in a managerial / supervisory roleProven sales track record (minimum 6 months)Industrial Relations experienceStrong planning, organizational and time management abilitiesGood knowledge of sales techniquesSkills
