Equity Investment Analyst

Primary Functions of the position

o Economic data reporting & analysis

o Filtering and monitoring of the investable universe

 Accurate implementation of trade execution decisions made by Invescom

 Improving our investment process to minimise the occurrence of errors and to improve both individual

and team productivity / efficiency

 Proactive and professional engagement with clients and service providers (internal and external) to

ensure excellent management of our portfolios / funds

 Fulfil any reporting requirements, accurately and within their deadlines

 Manage portfolio liquidity / cash and daily administration

 Professional, accurate and timeous handling of standard investment communications and queries

Role Requirements :

 Appropriate degree, honours preferable, with quantitative focus, e.g. Finance / Accounting / Investments

or alternatively a CA

 CFA would be an advantage

 Minimum of 2 years equity analyst experience

 Experience in analysing financial or industrial companies would be preferable

 Meet FAIS requirements or be willing to write the Reps exam

 Proficient in Microsoft office and particularly Excel

 Financial modelling
