We are on the hunt for a Business Development Consultant at Outsourced CFO, you will support and work with ambitious entrepreneurs and fast-growing businesses worldwide. This isn’t just about selling a service — it’s about building trusted relationships with founders and executives, understanding their challenges, and connecting them to solutions that drive real growth.
The individual in this role is responsible for leads and sales management with the guidance of the Head of Growth. This individual is responsible for growth in the Sales department. They help manage inbound leads and outbound campaigns and leads, and help to create new avenues of business for OCFO's service offering. They assist in improving the sales process, tools and team.
Key Performance Areas
Sales / Inbound sales activities
- Telephonic and email correspondence with certain inbound leads
- Following up on inbound leads
- Client meetings with certain inbound leads
- Preparing proposals for new clients
- Updating and maintaining OCFO CRM system
- Research on newest business developments and sales techniques, tools and including that in OCFO way of doing things
- Assisting with the generation of weekly sales reports for Directors
- To contribute to top line revenue growth, primarily through new business from new clients and supporting outbound and conversion efforts, with the goal of reaching or exceeding sales targets
Business Development / Outbound sales activities
Research and development to identify potential new target marketsCrafting and generating leads listsSupporting the management of outbound effortsCorrespondence and proposals and following up with potential clientsClient meetings with certain outbound leadsSupporting the management and improvements of the tech stack on which outbound lead generation is builtQualifications & Experience
Marketing or Business Management Diploma / Certificate3-5 years experience in Business DevelopmentProven experience selling to founders, C-suite executives, or senior decision-makers - You must be comfortable engaging at an executive level and navigating complex, strategic conversationsDemonstrated track record of successfully selling services or other high-ticket, consultative offerings - This role requires a strong ability to build trust, communicate value, and close meaningful dealsExperience selling virtually in a remote or hybrid environment - You must be confident running online demos, virtual discovery sessions, and remote closing conversationsCharacteristics
