Salary : R7,500 per month

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a thoughtful and attentive Laundry Assistant to join the team at a luxury guest farm in Franschhoek. This role is for someone who takes pride in caring for linens, uniforms, and guest garments, ensuring every item reflects the elegance and comfort of the property.

The successful candidate will create a calm, organised, and efficient laundry environment, supporting both the team and the guest experience through meticulous attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage the complete laundry process, from sorting to washing, ironing, and folding, with care and precision.

Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked laundry space, ensuring all equipment and supplies are in order.

Ensure timely preparation and turnover of linens and garments for guest rooms, dining, and kitchen areas.

Contribute to a calm and harmonious workspace, supporting colleagues and improving systems over time.

Uphold the highest standards of fabric care, cleanliness, and presentation throughout all laundry operations.

Requirements :

Experience in laundry or housekeeping, ideally within a luxury hospitality environment.

Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to excellence.

Organised, reliable, and able to work independently while supporting the wider team.

A calm, considerate approach and a willingness to assist others.

Physical ability to manage the hands-on demands of laundry work.
