Our client, a well established national concern are looking for a Technical Sales Representative with a passion for engineering solutions and strong relationship-building skills to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with a technical mindset and a drive to achieve sales success.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients across industries such as water treatment, HVAC, mining, oil & gas, and manufacturing.
- Identify opportunities, prepare quotations, and follow through to closing sales.
- Provide technical support and recommendations on pump selection, sizing, and related components.
- Conduct site visits and assist with product presentations and demonstrations.
- Meet sales targets and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Requirements :
Grade 12 (Matric)1–3 years’ sales experience in industrial equipment or related sectors; pump sales experience is advantageous.Basic understanding of pump technologies, hydraulics, and fluid mechanics.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and schematics.Strong negotiation, communication, and customer service skills.Fluent in English and Afrikaans (spoken and written).Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel locally / regionally (±70% of the time).Own reliable transport to work daily.What’s on Offer :
