ROLE OVERVIEW :
The Export Market Manager plays a key role in the execution of business strategies to advance the company's international sales in specific foreign markets. This role involves managing export activities, compliance with foreign markets business laws, analyzing market trends, finding new business opportunities and handling customer relations. The incumbent is required to travel frequently for business outside South Africa.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelor’s Degree / National Diploma in Marketing / Sales or an equivalent 3-year sales qualification.
- Minimum 5 Years commercial experience in a sales role.
- Candidate will be required to travel frequently for business outside RSA.
- Experience within an FMCG sales environment would be advantageous.
- Proven track record creating and implementing sales strategies.
- Africa experience will be advantageous.

Ensure that sales value targets are achieved in assigned regions to meet the overall export objectives.Updating and maintenance of 5-year road map plans for assigned regions.Completion and updating of situation analysis templates for assigned regions.Preparation of annual IBP templates and other key budget input, for assigned regions.Collaborating with Export Marketing Manager on all relevant P.O.S and brand campaigns for implementation / adaption in assigned regions.Overseeing timeous execution of all marketing and A+P plans by region in line with the overall export strategy.Working with E. Snell distributor partners to identify market specific solutions and plans which will disrupt the spirit category in relevant categories.Planning and leading quarterly business reviews with distributors, to align on expectations and drive timeous course correction.Effective management of all A&P overheads in assigned regions.Providing key input into integrated business processes e.g. stock forecastingREPORTING TO : Group Export Manager
